Crafts

I know it’s been a while.
I’m still trying to get used to this blog idea.  How long does it take to actually get this thing down and have enough time to update this all the time? 

Lately I’ve had the feeling of being super crafty.  Maybe it’s the hour I got stuck in the craft store waiting as they called different locations to see if they had enough of this hot pink material for my bridesmaids dresses.  As I looked around, I felt like I could make anything. All the material, zippers, jewels, string, etc. anyone would feel crafty.  Or maybe it’s my excessive pinning.  This has definitely had an effect on my recently discovered talent of, “I think I’m Martha Stewart.”

As you may know already, I am LDS and happy to say so!  I love the temple and can’t wait to go through with my best friend Bo!  Bo has been very supportive of me from the beginning of our relationship and still continues even when I do so many crafts.  He is the inspiration to all my craft ideas.  He did have me promise that the boards I bought for my newly discovered craft idea would be the last craft I’d make… He doesn’t want to have to lug them across the country, which I don’t blame him. 

Anyways, I thought I’d share!  Let me know what you think! 

Also, I’m not much of a reader.  Meaning I read about 1 book a year, but started my year off great by reading The Kite Runner.  Some places that I’ve seen have listed it on the “Top Books to Read Before You Die.”  This is more of an AWARENESS book to let us know what is going on in the WORLD AROUND US. It’s about Afghanistan and the Taliban.  Sad, but worth reading. Highly recommend it.  If I can read it, anyone can.  It takes a lot for me to get into a book.
